For his second collaboration with an artist, Felipe Oliveira Baptista has chosen to shine a light on Japanese designer Kansai Yamamoto. Kansai Yamamoto, who moved to London shortly after Kenzo Takada settled in Paris, was another pioneer in the fusion of western and eastern cultures, offering new takes on calligraphy motifs and the representation of animals in Japanese art.
